Canyon Gate is Upper East Side meets Staten Island. It's a gated community with upscale homes and manicured lawns, reminiscent of the affluent parts of the Upper East Side, but with the more suburban, car-dependent feel of Staten Island. The area has a touch of Murray Hill in its mix of young professionals and families.
