Neu-Hohenschönhausen is Stuyvesant Town meets Co-op City. It's a planned community with a distinctly socialist architectural aesthetic, featuring large apartment blocks and wide open spaces. The area has a utilitarian feel reminiscent of some parts of East Harlem, but with more green spaces and better urban planning.
