Springburn is Bushwick meets East Harlem. It's an area with a gritty, industrial past that's slowly transforming, much like parts of outer Brooklyn and upper Manhattan. There's a mix of old-school working-class charm and pockets of urban renewal, reminiscent of the evolving landscape in some of New York's more peripheral neighborhoods.
