Zuidwijk is Flushing meets Sunnyside. It's a diverse, working-class area with a mix of mid-century apartment blocks and newer developments, reminiscent of parts of Queens. The neighborhood has a practical, no-frills atmosphere with plenty of green spaces, much like the quieter sections of Forest Hills.
